Drowned Gambit

Drowned Gambit is a pixel-art roguelike chess game played across a changing sea. Build a crew, plot a route, collect relics, and battle the drowned across three acts.

Click a piece to see its legal moves, then click a highlighted square to move. Hover over pieces to learn their abilities. Capture the enemy captain or defeat its crew to win a battle. Protect your Tide King: if it is captured or drowned, the run ends.

Tide surges shove pieces across the board. Shallows stop sliding pieces, while deep water and rocks block movement. Captured crew members are lost for the run, but promoted Divers keep their new strength.
